Facilities Management System Specialist

You will operate and oversee the operation of a Facility Management Software System (FMSS). You will serve as the park account manager for the FMSS program; track contracts and purchase orders and enter status and financial data for projects. You will evaluate planned and actual costs of facilities work; review reports to prioritize asset needs; coordinate FMSS work orders and estimates; implement, operate and maintain database. You will prepare and present reports from FMSS databases; train FMSS users in all phases of FMSS, Project Management Information System and associated software systems. In addition to the duties above - at the GS-9 level you will also:
develop preventative and reoccurring maintenance plans. Develop time-phased actions and milestones for asset related plans, and compare planned cost changes to actual costs as milestones are reached. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level. To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
Experience:
At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Specialized experience is experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully perform the duties of this position. Examples of specialized experience may include:
tracking asset condition assessments for a park, recreational area, or similar facility by entering data into a software system, such as the Facility Management Software System (FMSS) or similar maintenance management system; documenting deferred maintenance, inventory, and/or condition data; monitoring a facility management asset documentation process. You must include the number of hours worked per week in your resume. -OR- EDUCATION:
Successful completion of at least one full year of graduate education, from an accredited college or university, in a field of study that is directly related to this position. You must submit a copy of your transcripts. -OR- Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. To combine education and experience, first take the number of semester hours or equivalent earned towards a graduate degree and divide by 18 semester hours or equivalent. Then take the number of months of full time experience and divide by 12 months. Add the percentages together. The total must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. You must included the number of hours worked per week in your resume and submit a copy of your transcripts. -OR- Superior Academic Achievement (S.A.A.) as evidenced by one of the three following methods:
I am in the upper third of my graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision, such as the College of Liberal Arts or the School of Business Administration, based on completed courses; OR I have a GPA 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum, or 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 (B+ or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in my major field or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; OR I am a member in one of the national scholastic honor societies. Your education must be from an accredited college or university, in a field of study that is directly related to this position. You must submit a copy of your transcripts and documentation to support your claim. To qualify for this position at the GS-09 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
Experience:

Examples of specialized experience may include:
preparing and managing asset condition assessments for a park, recreational area, or similar facility by identifying, planning and recording in a software system, such as the Facility Management Software System (FMSS) or similar maintenance management system; documenting deferred maintenance, inventory, and/or condition data; developing and monitoring a facility management asset documentation process; assisting in project development through the use of an automated system such as the Project Management Information System (PMIS) or similar project management system. You must include the number of hours worked per week in your resume. -OR- EDUCATION:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a degree, or LL.B. or J.D. Your education must be from an accredited college or university, in a field of study that is directly related to this position. You must submit a copy of your transcripts. -OR- Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. To combine education and experience, first divide your number of semester hours in excess of 18 semester hours by 18 or the number your school uses to represent one year of full time graduate academic study. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
