FIELD MANAGER

In order to qualify for this Field Managerat the GS-13 grade level, applicants must have at least one-year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 level in Federal service performing the following duties 1) implementing a complex land and natural resource programs; 2) coordinating land and resource planning and management with federal, state or local governments; 3) ensuring proper utilization of personnel, equipment, material and finances for field offices; and 4) implementing education and training programs for subordinate staff. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To be creditable, this experience must have been for 1 year and equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade of the position to be filled. Normally works in an office setting with occasional trips to the field. Occasionally required to walk moderately long distances over rough terrain during normal fieldwork. Working Conditions:
Office work is accomplished in an adequately lighted and heated facility. When in the field, subject to injuries when walking in rough terrain and exposure to uncomfortable hot and cold temperatures. Incumbent will adhere to all safety rules and regulations as prescribed in manuals/supplements or by the designated Safety Officer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
