A school district in Fairbanks, AK has teamed up with Soliant Health in hopes to find a well-qualified SLP to bring on board into their school district for the 2014-15 year. This will be a full-time contract position that will allow an SLP to go into a wonderful and established district to provide services to a group of students. Most of these students will be in the elementary school, but there will also be a couple that will be in the middle and high schools, as well. We are asking that the SLP have previous schools experience and also pediatric experience before applying to this position. IEP meetings, documentation, scheduling, and some travel are all aspects of this position that the hired SLP will need to be comfortable with. Also, this district has a very tight-knit faculty that works together on many different levels, so the hired SLP will need to be capable to be a team player and have strong communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
