Director will manage volunteers in the overall planning and implementation of two major fundraising events, Heart Walk and Go Red For Women Luncheon_,_ with a combined revenue of $474,000 net _._
Key responsibilities include: identify, cultivate and recruit leadership volunteers to assist in obtaining corporate sponsorships ; promote corporate and community participation in local activities ; maintain strong relationships with volunteers and volunteer committees ; and event planning and execution . The Director is expected to have 10
face to face meetings per week.
Required Experience
Qualified candidates need to have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

years successful fundraising, sales or marketing experience
Ability to accomplish results through strong volunteer recruitment, training and management
Highly effective organizational, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
Self-starter able to work well in a team driven environment
Thrive in a culture of accountability
Willing and able to travel within local area and to work evenings and weekends as needed
