Summary:
UAF Facilities Services is looking for an organized individual interested in working in a challenging environment on all aspects related to warehousing and materials.
The right person will possess a positive, can-do attitude, and be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work and communicate well with a diverse population.
This recruitment is open internally to current UA employees or those otherwise eligible to apply to internal postings.
The Facilities Services Warehouse and Procurement Shared Services (W&PSS) is a full-service materials handling and distribution facility supporting maintenance and operations across campus, as well as an opt-in procurement service for all of UAF.
UAF departments are encouraged to make use of this shared service center for any purchasing need.
W&PSS can assist on anything from small local orders requiring pickup and delivery to the department, routine online pro card orders, and requisition entry for large or complex procurements.
In order to excel in this position, the ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be proactive, and have a keen eye for detail.
They should also possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Additionally, they may have a journeyman level certification, but an apprentice level or equivalent certification, which is appropriate to the specific trade, is required.
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Driver License and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria.
Forklift Certification.
Position Details:
This position is located on the UAF campus in Fairbanks, Alaska.
This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
