Insurance Verification Specialist Are you someone with a keen understanding of medical insurance? Do you possess the ability to navigate the complexities of insurance coverage for chiropractic and physical therapy services? We are currently seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our dynamic team.
We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
Verify insurance coverage for both in and out-of-network carriers for chiropractic and physical therapy services.
Analyze and isolate covered charges at the time of service, ensuring accurate billing and timely reimbursement.
Liaise effectively with billers, front desk associates, and providers to communicate insurance details and resolve any coverage-related issues promptly.
Perform clerical duties at the front desk during downtime, assisting with administrative tasks related to insurance coverage.
Qualifications:
Proficient understanding of medical insurance, particularly in the context of chiropractic and physical therapy services.
Experience in verifying insurance coverage for various carriers, both in-network and out-of-network.
Strong communication skills to correspond effectively with internal team members and insurance providers.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Proficiency in basic clerical duties and administrative tasks.
