Summary:
The Compliance and Administrative Coordinator at Interior Gas Utility plays a vital role in supporting the efficient and compliant operation of our gas utility.
This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Operations Manager, overseeing compliance-related tasks, managing training programs, ensuring OSHA compliance, and supporting the creation of essential documentation.
Key
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to facilitate the smooth operation of daily tasks.
Create and distribute schedules for utility operators, taking into account resource availability and operational requirements.
Communicate daily, weekly, and monthly assignments to utility operators to ensure efficient task management.
Compliance Monitoring and Assurance:
Ensure compliance with the regulations of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) by keeping up to date with specific compliance requirements.
Monitor, assess, and report on compliance-related matters as they pertain to PHMSA regulations.
Training Program Management:
Develop, coordinate, and manage training programs for utility personnel to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their tasks safely and effectively.
Keep records of training completion and certifications for audit purposes.
OSHA Compliance:
Maintain knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and standards.
Implement and oversee safety measures to ensure OSHA compliance, keeping employees and operations safe.
Document Creation and Compliance:
Assist in creating and maintaining forms, documents, and records needed for daily operations.
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, making updates as necessary.
Ensure processes comply with SOPs Quality Assurance for Capital Projects:
Assist as needed and as available with quality assurance activities related to capital projects, ensuring that projects meet established quality standards and objectives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, Business Administration, Process Engineering, or a related discipline) preferred.
Prior experience in administrative support and compliance coordination within a utility or regulated industry is a plus.
Strong knowledge of PHMSA regulations and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Working Conditions:
This role is typically office-based but will require field visits and off-site coordination.
