About the TeamThe Mobile Outreach and Crisis Response Team responds to children and families in crisis or pre-crisis to provide clinical intervention and stabilization.
As a direct-referral and community-based program, MOCR staff receive calls from community member or providers and triage calls to determine MOCR eligibility and response.
MOCR services the greater-Fairbanks area, within approximately 1 hour of downtown for in-person crisis assessments and service planning for youth in crisis.
MOCR serves as a low-barrier access point for care with up to 6-weeks of intensive crisis support and follow-up care.
Consisting of Clinicians and Peer Support Professionals, this multidisciplinary program provides rapid-response care to youth and families in the community.
What You'll DoProvide on-demand crisis services during scheduled shift.
Triage and respond to direct-referral calls or walk-in crises within 60 minutes.
Assess needs and risk to determine appropriate level of care and complete safety plans or wellness plans as appropriate.
Coordinate care with existing treatment providers and/or refer clients to appropriate needed services.
Complete medical record documentation of all client activities.
Flexible shifts available to meet program needs, including potential for:
5x8hr, 4x10hr, and 3x12hrComplete a range of clinical activities as recommended and appropriate during short-term crisis stabilization durationParticipate in weekly team meetings and bi-weekly case conferencesUtilize agency-provided clinical supervision under the direction of the clinical leadership teamResponsible for compliance with all Company polices and procedures.
Adhere to discipline's Code of Ethics (APA, ACA, NASW, etc) and State and Federal lawsGood To KnowPosition is based in Fairbanks, AlaskaFull-Time, ExemptPay range is $72,310 to $93,579 DOEUnlicensed clinicians are eligible for $5,000 sign on bonus; licensed clinicians are eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 10% of your annual salaryStudent Loan Repayment and Tuition Assistance is Available - Professional Growth is encouraged!Clinicians participate in regular individual and group supervision and are provided with additional training opportunities as part of our professional development plan.

What We Need from YouYou have a master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other discipline recognized in the State of Alaska as a Mental Health Professional or a related fieldYou are licensed in Alaska as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Psychological Associate, Marriage & Family Therapist, or have the ability to be licensed within two yearsPrefer full-time internship and/or one year of experience working with children and families, preferably with experience in crisis intervention and stabilization.
Required:
