Qualifications:

S.
Degree in Vocational Education, Industrial Arts Education or related field.
2.
Current Alaska Type T Teaching Certificate with endorsement in Vocational / Industrial Arts or related area.
3.
Demonstrated ability to live and work in a cross cultural setting desirable.
4.
Highly Qualified, or the ability to become Highly Qualified, in assigned core content area.
PROFESSIONAL GOALS:

Essential Functions:
1.
Demonstrated student achievement and is responsible for student learning.
2.
Promotes a physical classroom environment conductive to learning.

Works a full day in accordance with state/federal and negotiated policies.

Develops detailed lesson plans.
5.
Keeps accurate, current records of student achievement and attendance.
6.
Meets health and safety standards in accordance with state laws.

Administers and scores tests for the purpose of evaluating the educational program and pupil progress.
