A School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a vital role in providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans in a school setting for students with behavioral challenges or developmental disorders.
This position is located in Anchorage, AK.
Pay Rate- $33/hr
$2,250 Bonus ($750 after first month of work, $750 after winter break, $750 after contract ends)

Healthcare, Vision, Dental Job Duties Work closely with the school's special education team to provide behavioral support to students.
Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address targeted behaviors and promote skill development.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during designated intervention periods.
Collect and accurately record data on students' behavior and progress during intervention sessions.
Assist teachers and other school staff in the implementation of behavior management strategies within the classroom.
Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistent application of behavior interventions and strategies across school environments.
Support students' social skills development, communication, and independent functioning.
Assist in the assessment and evaluation of students' progress and behavior, including conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) as needed.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents, school staff, and other relevant stakeholders regarding students' progress and any concerns.
Attend team meetings and professional development sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a bachelor's degree in a related field).
Successful completion of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification program.
Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
Experience working with children or students with behavioral challenges or developmental disorders is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Ability to follow directions, maintain professionalism, and work as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish a positive rapport with students.
Organizational skills to manage and accurately record data on student behavior and progress.
Knowledge of special education laws, policies, and procedures may be required in some positions.
