VideosDuties Serve as a senior HR Specialist utilizing the full range of HR methods, principles, practices and evaluative methodologies to advise on and/or resolve classification problems which range from recurring through complex and unprecedented.
Evaluate position management in assigned organizations and provide assistance to supervisors and operating officials on ways to improve structures.
Analyze position duties using classification standards related to the work in order to classify position descriptions and prepare evaluation statements.
Explain classification standards, classification decisions, impact of designated duties on classification, and complaint and appeal procedures to employees, supervisors, and operating officials or managers.
Provide advice and assistance on automated personnel programs such as the Fully Automated System for Classification (FASCLASS), Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), or other HR automated systems.
Provide technical guidance or assistance to other HR Specialists with regards to position classification.
