Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairing and maintaining apartment buildings, building systems and premises.
The Maintenance technician must keep the buildings and premises safe and in good condition for employees, residents, contractors and guests.
Job Functions and
Qualifications:
Proficient at basic household maintenance experience in two of the following trades; electrical, plumbing, carpentry (doors and window repair), flooring, painting/drywall, appliance repair, and HVAC systems.
Ability to work individually and in a team environment to meet deadlines.
Responsible for assisting in enforcing safety regulations; identifying, reporting and correcting safety hazards.
Provide own hand tools.
Projects a positive attitude with the aptitude to learn quickly.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Applicant must own reliable and insured vehicle and a valid ADL, and be able to pass a criminal background check.
Maintenance Technicians who are motivated to learn will have the ability to grow within the company, allowing them opportunity to broaden their skillset to work emergency on call shifts, and overtime shifts.
Position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
Some weekends and on-call work may be required after training.
